Worked but didn't work

I've owned an FM transmitter before and it was time for another (battery area corroded). I researched and researched for an inexpensive thing that would just do the trick (transmit my Pandora tunes into the car speakers). I was excited when I ordered and receive the new product! But immediately was disappointed--it didn't fit on my iPhone 4 with an Otterbox cover :( If I want to use it, I have to take the case off--that is a big job just to listen to music. I tried it on my daughter's iPod touch and it worked. So the item does work, had a tad statistic but it was something I could have lived with.

I couldn't give the item 5 stars because it never mentioned not working with a case on my phone and I would imagine most of us have cases on our phones.

UPDATE: November 29th-- I was going out of town and forgot my usual car charger for my iphone in the other vehicle. I was in a panic because I was going to be on the interstate with my kids and low battery on phone (30% only). Then it hit me, that FM transmitter that has just been siting in my car also served as a charger. So, I took the time to take both pieces of the Otterbox cover on the phone and plug it up. The charger worked perfectly! It charged my phone up to 100% during our two hour drive. I was very pleased! And while the cover was off, we used the FM transmitter portion of it and really enjoyed it. The connection is a bit loose at times. So I still like this product, just sad it takes me taking my cover off to use it. Something I don't do often.

Didn't work for my phone, I didn't pay close enough attention to the adaptor but sold it to a friend and she loves it! Works great!

This is the crappiest thing I ever bought. Wasn't even worth the 3$ I purchased it for. The charger piece won't stay in the ipod and continually shuts off the music while you drive. It's the most annoying thing. And it's very cheap quality broke in 3 weeks of use. Don't buy it, save the money and buy something better.
