Poor quality. It broke on the 1st try!!!

I plugged it into my laptop. It did not read the iPOD. I tried to remove the USB connector, the housing separated from the connector and broke off leaving the connector in the USB port. I had to use a pliers to remove the connector.

Exactly what I needed

I needed a new charger (my old one no longer worked), and this works great! I have had it for a few months now, and I have had no issues with it.

Cable doesn't work!

The other comments worried me. I went ahead and bought this (cheap). Turned out to be CHEAP. This cable DOES NOT see either of my iPod shuffles (3rd or 4th generation). WILL NOT CHARGE the device. Computer DOES NOT SEE the device in order to connect it to iTunes. I had to go buy one (pay the $) at the apple store. FYI: their product is $19 and provides TWO CABLES: a short one like this and a longer one (about 42 inches long). Both cables works well with 3rd & 4th generation iPod shuffles. I hope this helps others not make the mistake I made.
