Good Quality Mount!

Amazon's Universal Windshield & Dashboard Mount product was received as part of Amazon's early product review via vine program. The product was tested with various tablets & smartphones I own and I am pleased to report that it works quite well. It has a nice look to it as well.

The product quality is better than average. It is a sturdy mount when compared to most other cheap unknown brands. You do get the options to mount this to your vehicle's windshield directly or you can place it horizontally on your dashboard with the included dashboard mount accessory. Amazon was thoughtful to even include a sachet of alcohol to wipe clean the dashboard surface before permanently fixing the dashboard mount base. The base mount bond is permanent. So before you decide on placing this dashboard mount circular base on your car's dashboard make sure you are 'double' sure of it's location as it cannot be undone easily.

Having said, the flexible option is to use the windshield mount. I love the strong suction mechanism that this product has. It is very easy to attach and remove from the windshield and holds my 7 inch tablet or my smartphone with with great ease. The holding clips are spring loaded and easy to attach and detach your device. You can place your tablet or smartphone in portrait or landscape mode. The ball joint is sturdy and the strength can be adjusted too. What more can you ask?

Overall a very nice product & offered at very competitive price. Recommended!

Great product that really works.

Wow I was quite impressed with this little gadget. I use it in my car with and iphone and you can snap it in with one hand because it is spring loaded- so that is not a problem at all. I also love that the part that sticks to the dash is never coming unstuck so I never have to worry about it falling off. As soon as I stuck the base on my dash I tried to pull it off and could not do it! I had a bean bag one before this one that often slid off making it so annoying.
I really love to use my phone GPS rather than the store bought one. I would caution that you should just make sure that when you put it on your dash originally you don't have it so close to the windshield that you can not turn it vertically. That way you always have a choice of turning it either vertically or horizontally. Also I have had one of the arms fall our when it is turned sideways but it is easy to put it back on. It still holds great but if not for this fact I'd given it five stars.
